Please review these notes concerning steel and rubber coolant sealing collets
In general steel sealed collets are good for 2000 psi, rubber sealed 500 psi
For steel coolant sealing collets to seal properly entire shank must be in the collet and cover all slits
Steel collets will seal best when using max size shank on the collet.
Shanks cannot have any flats unless behind the rubber on rubber sealed collets
Both collets work on all standard ER holders and nuts
