These solid carbide screw machine length drills are ideal for tough drilling applications. 135 degree split point with 15 degree helix is recommended for drilling in carbon steel, stainless steels, cast iron, and gummy materials. Solid carbide helps this drill maintain its cutting edge and maintain hole straightness. Heat resistant grade lets you run this drill with higher cutting speeds and still resist chip welding. Good flow of coolant or cutting oil is recommended.
