These adjustable reamer holders allow you to adjust cutter runout to zero
With zero runout, reamers will hold size better, last longer and give better roundness
- This AR2 tool holder body is made to accept AR2 series reamer holders available here
- Works on all CAT40 machines with Dual Contact spindles
- Compatible with BIG-PLUS® spindles
- All critical tool holder surfaces precision ground
- Made from hardened alloy steel
- These holders are not balanced to any high rpm specification. Keep under 6000 rpm
- Gage length is 2.16 inches
- 4 fine pitch set screws (M6x1) along OD are for adjusting the AR2 concentricity
- 4 screws on face (included) are for clampling the AR2 once adjusted to desired runout
- Tool holder is coolant thru compatible
- Rear thread for pull stud is 5/8—11
