Our live tool holders are bench tested after assembly. RPM and temperature are monitored for a specific amount of time for proper run in and grease distribution. However, with any high precision spindle sitting unused for any length of time it is a good idea to run at 200 rpm for several minutes in each direction to even out any grease that may have settled. After that, run your program and these units as you wish.
